About Us
The Southern Virginia Land Conservancy (SVaLC) is a small, non-profit organization formed in 2019. Our mission is to help landowners conserve their property through voluntary land preservation agreements known as conservation easements. SVALC works with farmers and other landowners to preserve land in our service area, which includes Halifax, Henry, Patrick, and Pittsylvania counties.
